Parallaxes Capital’s Saish Setty Speaks at PLI’s Tax Program
Parallaxes Capital General Counsel Saish Setty was a guest speaker at the Practicing Law Institute’s 3-day tax program held in San Francisco. Tax Planning for Domestic & Foreign Partnerships, LLCs, Joint Ventures & Other Strategic Alliances 2023 offered attendees a comprehensive overview of the framework and intricacies of Tax Receivable Agreements (“TRAs”). Saish, alongside the program’s Co-Chair Benjamin J. Applestein, led a discussion titled The Umbrellas of Subchapter K. The presentation focused on the key features of umbrella partnerships and tax receivable agreements. Saish used his experience at Parallaxes Capital to help participants gain a better understanding of TRAs and how to better draft effective agreements.
