On September 14, 2022, Parallaxes Capital General Counsel Saish Setty conducted a seminar on Tax Receivable Agreements (“TRAs”) for the Practicing Law Institute (“PLI”). The seminar provided background on the transactional context in which TRAs arise, how TRAs work, and the expected tax treatment of the holder and issuer of a TRA. The seminar also included a discussion on the secondary market for TRAs, including pricing and documentation considerations.
